The Algerian company of aluminium, by abbreviation ALGAL is a subsidiary of the Non Ferrous Metals Metallurgial Transformation Entreprise METANOF.

Constituted in joint stock company held to 100 % by METANOF Spa. Company ALGAL is in charge in accordance with its statutes with the production and marketing with the aluminium profiles, accessories and works out of aluminium.

In addition to the ranges produced, for more than 15 years, ALGAL has used and developed the Alunion range with its partner production routing specialist Pechiney Bâtiment (reyaners). ALGAL is able to to extrude any other specific range and sections. The registered office of the Company is fixed at M' SILA in the industrial Zone.

ALGAL marketed these products as aluminium profiles in 06 meters length and aluminium works.
It produces for its own needs aluminium billets (diam 172 mm and 216 mm ) intended for respectly press 2500 MT and 1600 MT.

Unit EARA ensures the manufacture by extrusion of aluminium profils, used in metal joinery, starting from the billets and ingots aluminium imported and/or produced by the factory .

These sections are anodized, coloured or lacked according to the needs for the market.
The process of production is summarized in five (05) principal workshops:

• The workshop extrusion : manufacture of extruded profils starting from the billets aluminium.with production capacity of 5500 MT in 2x8 team.
• The workshop anodization : Improvement of the surfaces characteristics by electrolytic process.
• Workshop colouring : Colouring of profiled by electrolytic process of anodization, allowing the realization of colourings very resistant to the light and the bad weather.
• Polish workshop : Workshop of surface treatment for the purpose of giving a brightness to profiles by process mechanical
• Lacquering Workshop : Colouring by electrostatic powdering. Process.
• Workshop recasting : Production of billets aluminium starting from virgin aluminium in ingot.
